We are pleased to announce the fourth CME accredited International Summer School of Renal Pathology to be held at the University of Bari, Italy, from  July 3rd to July 15th 2017. The course is endorsed by the Renal Pathology Society (RPS), the International Society of Nephrology (ISN), the European Renal Association-European Dialysis and Transplant Association (ERA-EDTA) and the Italian Society of Nephrology (SIN). Fellowships are available to cover some of the costs of the course (see fellowship announcement and registration form).

The course will be organized in three parts:

native kidney diseases

transplant kidney diseases

› molecular nephropathology

The course will include:

- formal lectures (29 hours)

- independent review of 200 cases (35 hours)

- small group case study with instructor (group = 12 students) (9 hours/ group)

- practical exercise with Instructor (EM&IF interpretation, reporting renal biopsies, digital pathology) (4 hours)

- small group electron microscopy room (group = 3 students) (12 hours total)

- technical aspects: laboratories for small groups (12 hours total)

- Clinical-pathologic conferences (4 hours)
